Sunday School Information

Our Sunday School for grades 1-6 at St. John's Lutheran Church is based on the Workshop Rotational Model. This approach to Sunday School means that every month students take an inside look at a Bible story through a variety of fun, interactive, “hands-on” workshops which include: Arts and Crafts, Drama/Storytelling, Video, Science, Games, and Cooking. Age-level groups travel with an adult Shepherd to a new workshop each week. The workshops are lead by an adult leader who teaches the same lesson to different age groups during the one month rotation. Kids love this model of Sunday School because their diverse learning styles and needs are being met. Adults love it because they can volunteer to help with Sunday School without committing to the entire year.
