Born and raised in Ohio, Pastor Lisa graduated from Trinity Lutheran Seminary 2000 and pursued a Doctor of Ministry from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago in 2007. Pastor Lisa has a passion for preaching, creative worship, invitational ministry, and community outreach that involves hands and hearts. Her hobbies include walking, reading, baseball, and visiting family in Ohio and Tennessee. Pastor Lisa is married to Noel who graduated from Towson University and has 2 adult children.
As Pastor and Director of Young Discipleship, Jeremy does pastoral ministry, oversees our united crib to college ministry plan, and works in direct ministry with middle and high school youth. Jeremy attended seminary at Fuller Seminary where he has returned for a Doctor of Ministry. His passion in ministry is helping both young people and adults to work through questions of identity, belonging and purpose. Jeremy enjoys eating tacos and watching movies with his wife Sam, daughter Norah and son Jude.
Brian is a father, worship leader, musician, song writer, recording artist, visual artist, playwright, actor, and performing arts instructor. He has attended Potomac School of Ministry for Biblical Studies and has received various professional trainings in music and theatre. He enjoys coffee, travel, good food, and quality time with his family. Brian loves Jesus, and is passionate about the atmosphere of liberty and healing through worship arts.
Brian is originally from Georgia and has a Masters in Sacred Music from Perkins School of Theology (2012) and a Bachelors in Music Education from Wingate University (2010). He is the Director of the Center for Congregational Song, the outreach arm of the Hymn Society in the United States and Canada. Brian is married to Eve and they have two children, Jakob who is 7 and an infant, Clara. They live in the Mt. Washington neighborhood of Baltimore.
Megan was born and raised in Baltimore and currently lives in the Bel Air area with her husband Chris, and two boys, Camden and Austin. She graduated in 2011 from Towson University with a Master’s Degree in Child Life Administration and Family Collaboration. She is a Certified Child Life Specialist and has worked at the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital, as an Assistant Director of a child development center on base at Fort Meade, and as an accommodations advocate for a local testing company. Megan’s passion for ministry is to promote developmental and spiritual growth through storytelling, play and positive interaction with peers.
Laurie Krieger came to St. John’s on October of 2012 after 31 years at Verizon. In her free time she enjoys reading and watching tv, especially crime dramas. She also really loves animals. Laurie is very involved with St. John’s in Parkville where she serves as the chair of the hospitality and fellowship committee. She also is a part of the alter guild, eucharistic ministers, vicar care committee and women’s Bible study.
Julie grew up in the Gardenville area of Northeast Baltimore City and currently lives in Perry Hall with her husband Dale Jr. and daughter Emily. Before they were even dating, Julie and Dale were involved with the Young Adult Group here at St. John’s in Sweet Air. She was previously employed by BGE/Constellation Energy where she worked for 20 years. Julie is passionate about enjoying the simple pleasures in life which include watching Emily grow.
Randy cares for our campus inside and out. He works closely with property volunteers; sets up for events; completes routine cleaning; and welcomes various repair professionals when needed. Randy is a member of Mt. Pisgah CME church on Fulton Avenue, Baltimore City. Randy leads Sunday School and has been a big brother in mentoring and coaching.
Molly is a long-term part of the congregation, having spent many of her formative years attending St. John’s along with her family. Having just completed a bachelor’s degree at Eastern University, Molly has returned to the area and can be found ministering with the children and youth through various programs and to the church as a whole through her preaching, prayers, and music ministry.
